Lynn Berggren was a former member of the group Ace of Base, in which she participated from 1990 to 2007 alongside her brother Jonas Berggren, her sister Jenny Berggren, and their mutual friend Ulf Ekberg.

Prior to becoming a singer, Lynn studied to become a teacher at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and sang in a church choir. She is fluent in several languages, including Swedish, English, German, Spanish, Russian, and French.
When Ace of Base signed a contract with the Danish label Mega Records in 1990, Lynn put her teaching career on hold. While her sister Jenny expressed to the press that she "always wanted to be a singer," Lynn preferred not to make such statements.
In fact, in 1997, she stated, "I would like to sing, but I never wanted to be a singer."
